Фестиваль классической музыки в Анси

The VI International Music Festival Annecy Classic has ended.

The VI International Music Festival — Annecy Classic is drawing to a close.

A performance by the Annecy Classic choir, led by Patrick Marco, opened the proceedings on the fifth day of the festival. The program consisted of religious songs written by West-European composers of the 17th-20th centuries.

On the fourth day of the festival, Annecy’s residents and visitors were able to enjoy two impressive programmes of chamber music in the concert hall of the Bonlieu Theatre.

The third day of the festival opened with a master class given by the well-known French pianist, Roger Muraro. Young pianists, who had recently graduated from various music schools and colleges, took part in this event.

The ‘heroes’ of the festival’s second day were the guitar duo — Dimitri Illarionov and Emmanuel Rossfelder, pianist Betrand Chamayou and the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Domingo Hindoyan.

For the opening of the festival, St. Petersburg’s world-famous Philharmonic Orchestra performed for the first time in a new venue — the concert hall of Annecy’s Bonlieu Theatre.

During the last week of the summer, the VI International Music Festival known as Annecy Classic is being held in France.
